Hopeman street to temporarily shut due to 'collapsed carriageway'

The top of Harbour Street in Hopeman will close for five days next month while work takes place to repair the road.

Moray Council says the route will be blocked off to traffic at the junction with the main B9040 Burghead to Lossiemouth road during the week beginning Monday, December 6.

It adds that the work will include the "investigation and repair of carriageway collapse".

Diversions will be put in place along Manse Road and Cooper Street during that week.
