THE first ever hospitality and tourism festival gets underway in Moray next week.
Moray College UHI Hospitality and Tourism Academy is hosting the week-long event.
The festival starts on Monday, March 28 and runs until Friday, April 1 and ends with a careers fayre featuring a range of employers from the industry.
The festival will bring together staff, students and organisations from across the sector to promote the hospitality and tourism industry.
The festival will aim to showcase the "exciting and diverse world" of the hospitality and tourism industry.
This will include:
- Live demonstrations.
- Talks from employers, graduates, students and staff.
- Information on helping you start your career in this rewarding industry.
- Networking opportunities with stakeholders and key influencers.
- Gala fundraising dinner to raise funds for Europa Mini Cooks.
Alistair Fowlie, deputy head of curriculum, said: "The aim of the festival is simply to bring people together. We plan to showcase the variety of course and employment options and to focus on the positivity and opportunity offered by the hospitality industry.
"We are delighted to have some phenomenal support for our festival, from stakeholders and industry, and we would love people to join us for a week full of collaboration, information, and a lot of fun"
