DESPITE currently having a home in Italy, a life in Moray is something that appeals to Whigfield’s Sannie Carlson.
The Danish singer had “the best time” playing at MacMoray Festival on Sunday night to a crowd of 10,000 people.
She also enjoyed the sights of Moray, having stayed the night prior to the event and visited Lossiemouth and Cullen.
“I’m here with some friends and we were driving around to the seaside,” she said. “I said to them I would live here.
“If I win the lottery, I’m going to buy a castle here!”
Whigfield were one of the final acts on the main stage and were well received by the crowd.
She said: “I was looking out and it was like three generations. You have little kids signing my songs like Saturday Night and Sexy Eyes. It’s amazing to see.
“Way back, people were just jamming, and that was crazy. I would definitely come back here anytime.
“Some festivals are hardcore and people are very tipsy and throw things, and some places you go people just stand there. But I’m going to sleep like a baby - I really had the best time.”
