Joanna's Nightclub and Playhouse Cinema not closing

RUMOURS a long-running Elgin entertainment venue is on the brink of closure have been quashed.

Joanna's Nightclub was forced into denying rumours that it, and linked venues, would be closing.

Ron Farquharson, managing director, said "Contrary to rumours we would like to inform our customers that The Moray Playhouse Cinema, Joannas Nightclub, Downtown USA and Zed Bar are not closing."
