Just Transition: Elgin roadshow tonight

THE first in a serious of roadshows to discuss how local groups can apply for a share in a £450,000 fund takes place this evening in Elgin Town Hall.

The fund aims to support third sector groups across the region, as well as in Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City, which work to promote the north-east's transition to net zero.

The roadshow will take place from 4-8pm today (June 26).

There is also a £50,000 pot for a parallel process for young people.

  • Tomintoul – July 3, Discovery Centre, 3pm-8pm
  • Rothes – July 4, Grant Hall, 3pm-8pm
  • Buckie – July 11, Fishermen's Hall, 3pm-8pm
  • Forres – July 12, Forres House Community Centre, 3pm-8pm
  • Fochabers – July 18, Fochabers Public Institute, 3pm-8pm
  • Lossiemouth – July 20, Lossiemouth Town Hall, 3pm-8pm
