Knitted tribute for Remembrance with World War One soldier on Elgin post box

MORAY'S mystery crocheter has hit the mark with two topical Remembrance tributes.

The post box toppers in Elgin are a unique commemoration of the Armistice (November 11).

One of them, on Morriston Road, in Bishopmill includes the figure of a soldier from the Western Front.

The other is on the High Street in Elgin and is a 'Lest we forget' theme.

They have attracted real interest and are a striking tribute to all members of the armed forces who have lost their lives.
