A MORAY drama group will take to the stage for a Christmas-themed whodunnit this month.

LADS Drama Group's murder mystery evening – "Twas Death Before Christmas" – will run at Elgin's Williamson Hall on Friday, December 17.

The group has welcomed eight fresh faces since lockdowns following an open night in September to attract new actors and helpers.

Six of the new members will take part in the murder mystery, which has a cast of 13.

Treasurer Beryl Duncan said: "We have over 20 members now, which is great for us to be able to continue. LADS have been running now for over 40 years.

"Twas Death Before Christmas is a murder mystery where the audience takes part by asking questions in order for them to guess who the murderer was.

"There will be a small prize and during the interval the audience will be served with individual festive snack boxes and they can BYOB."

LADS was previously known as Lhanbryde Amateur Dramatics Society as rehearsals were held there at one time.

Tickets, priced £10, must be pre-booked by phoning Alison on 07731 830545 or email ladselgin@gmail.com.
