Lecht snow gates reopen between Moray and Aberdeenshire

The snow gates on the Lecht have now reopened following the bad weather brought by Storm Arwen.

Police Scotland state other high roads across the North East have also opened again:

  • A93 spittal of Glenshee and Braemar
  • B974 Cairn o' Mount Road.

However the force is reminding drivers that the A957 at Mergie to Stonehaven remains closed due to fallen trees.
