After making his eagerly-awaited return last month with his new single Forget Me and rocketing straight to the top of the UK singles chart, the star has announced his new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent - out in May - and tour dates for next year.

The album is a follow up to his debut, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which was the biggest selling UK album of both 2019 and 2020.

After selling out headline shows to hundreds of thousands across the continents, the singer will now take to the road next year for a full arena headline tour across the UK & Europe.

His performance at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Monday, 23 January 2023, is one of the first of his highly anticipated tour.

Louise Stewart, Interim Managing Director at P&J Live, said: “Many fans will remember Lewis Capaldi’s last gig at P&J Live as one of the final times they were allowed to gather together, having performed right before the UK went into lockdown in 2020.

"It will be three years since he was here, so we’re delighted to see him back and sounding better than ever. If you’ve never seen him before, it’s time - his stage presence is absolutely magic and we know he’ll put on a great show.”

Three mobile customers can get their hands on presale tickets on Wednesday October 26 from 10am and venue presale starts on Thursday October 27 at 9am. Tickets will then go on general sale at 9am on Friday 28 October 2022 on www.ticketmaster.co.uk
