A LOCAL business has boosted learning options at an Elgin primary school.

Bishopmill Primary School will be able to deliver improved learning activities and experiences to pupils thanks to a donation of five iPads from Riverside Kitchens.

The business is based at the historic building, The Oakwood, on Forres Road.

The school said the iPads will benefit pupils in numeracy, literacy and technology, and will support the possibility of blended learning.

Kevin Stuart, deputy head teacher at Bishopmill Primary School, said: "During these unusual times, it is imperative that our staff members are able to provide learning experiences for our pupils at home or in school.

"The donation of these iPads enable us to do that in partnership with our parent council, who previously purchased other iPads.

"We are extremely grateful to Riverside Kitchens who again continue to support ourselves and our community, having recently received a financial contribution for our outdoor classroom."
