Locals urged to join Moray Climate Assembly for COP26 debrief

LOCALS are being invited to join the Moray Climate Assembly this week for an evening of sharing and reflection on COP26.

tsiMORAY, which provides support and information to Moray's third-sector organisations, is keen for anyone who attended the Climate Conference in Glasgow, participated online or locally in a COP26-related event, or who has an interest in COP26, to join the members of the Moray Climate Assembly for a debrief event.

The organisation is looking to gather insights, contributions, reflections and questions from as many local individuals and organisations as possible.

Moray Climate Assembly – Fair COP or COP Out? will run on December 14.

The online event – "Moray Climate Assembly – Fair COP or COP Out?" – will help formulate next steps on the climate and nature emergencies in Moray.

Moray MSP and Scotland's Minister for Just Transition, Richard Lochhead, and other elected representatives will share their COP26 experiences.

Those interested can register to attend the event on Tuesday, December 14, between 7-9pm, here.
