NORTHERN Scot reader Hazel Thomson sent in these photos of a red squirrel, spotted at Loch Spynie.

On a pre-Christmas trip to the loch, situated between Elgin and Lossiemouth, Hazel spotted the squirrel collecting nuts and enjoying an apple.
