Moray residents are being encouraged to keep their eyes an ears open for children and families at risk in the forthcoming weeks.

.

The request has been made by Moray Council while schools remain closed during the current coronavirus pandemic.

A spokesman said: "There is always concern for our most vulnerable children and families, even more so at this time when they could become increasingly isolated.

"Everyone within local communities is asked to be extra observant and play a part to keep children safe from harm during these unprecedented times.

"It’s better to say something than nothing if you’ve seen or heard something and have concerns about a child or children."

If you have any concerns during the working day please contact 01343 554370 or e-mail childrensaccessteam@moray.gov.uk.
