Owner Karen Thomson, who was crowned Scottish Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in November, said they were thrilled.

She said: "It means so much that Salon Business have chose us as a finalist for the Fashion Salon category in the awards, as we regularly work backstage at London Fashion Week and try to be ahead in industry in regards to fashion as much as possible.

"Our team are really thrilled to have finalised for this award, especially as it’s a brand new category, and to be the very first winner of the category would just be amazing."

To reach the finals, KAM had to submit images that best represent the salon brand and explain why.
