Chutney, jam and lots of singing.

That's the way a large sum of cash has been raised to fight multiple sclerosis in Scotland.

The Lossie Singers raised £660 following their concert at St James Church last summer.

Added to that is another £1200 from the sale of 700 bottles of jam and chutney over the course of last year.

The condiments were made by Elgin resident Helen McKellar who's been a member of the singing group since it formed in 2019.

She said: "We chose to support the MS Society because several of us have friends or relatives who have been affected by the condition.

"My daughter-in-law Rebecca was diagnosed last January."

Helen creates her jams and chutneys using ingredients grown by husband Duncan who she jokingly describes as her "head gardener".
