FORMER Forres Mechanics player and loyal supporter James Duncan has become one of the first to receive a Covid-19 vaccination at the club's Mosset Park.

Vaccinations began at the ground this morning, with those aged between 75 and 79 receiving their jab.

James Duncan, affectionately known as Flicker, said: "I'm delighted to get the jag, I really am.

"I would have said Mosset Park was one of the last places I could have imagined myself getting a jag! But it was well-organised and committee members were excellent in helping out.

"I just hope as many people as possible can get vaccinated."

Mosset Park will continue to operate as a vaccination centre every Monday until May.

Jags are being given in the boardroom, the office, the tearoom and the medical room at the ground.

Davy Bell, who got his jab at 9.08am, was one of the very first to be vaccinated at the ground.

Both Mr Bell and Mr Duncan were vaccinated in the medical room.
