Glasgow’s Westerton Male Choir set to visit Elgin Town Hall

AFTER a successful visit as part of their inaugral Scottish tour last year - Glasgow’s Westerton Male Voice Choir is coming back to Elgin this summer.

The group are returning to Elgin Town Hall on May 17 - aiming to gain new supporters from further afield.

The choir’s membership is currently at a record 65 singers and fundraising for their present charity Drake Music Scotland is now approaching £20,000.

Their promotion of male choral singing is finding success and even drew them to the attention of young Scottish star Nathan Evans, who asked WMVC to collaborate on a short video for his new single Heather on the Hill.
