A MORAY men's choir is preparing to celebrate the seasons of the year as it stages its annual Winter Concert.

The Glen Moray Male Voice Choir (GMMVC) will fill St Giles Church with song during the evening of Saturday, December 7.

The programme will follow the months and seasons of a year in a variety of songs, the spoken word and instrumental music.

Performing on stage are members of Glen Moray Male Voice Choir.

Supporting the 65 male singers will be local musicians John Mustard on cello, Colin Saddington on violin and Fiona Gordon on oboe.

Since its formation six years ago, the GMMVC has raised over £25,000 for charity.

This year's Winter Concert, which gets underway at 7.30pm and is led by musical director Jane Ferguson, is taking place in support of Epilepsy Research UK.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from Cathedral Windows, on Elgin High Street, and on the door, subject to availability.
