Police arrest and charge man who behaved inappropriately towards women in Cooper Park, Elgin

POLICE have arrested and charged a man in Elgin in connection with a breach of the peace.

The 37-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, June 11 following reports of a man behaving inappropriately towards women in Cooper Park.

Police Constable Gemma Latter said: "I would like to thank the people who have come forward with information regarding this incident.

"If anyone has further information or wishes to speak with officers please call us on 101. If it is an emergency always call 999."

The man is due to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.
