A 27-year-old man is set to appear in court tomorrow following last night's tense stand-off with armed police.
Police Scotland confirmed that officers were called to Findhorn Court at around 6.30pm on Wednesday evening following a report of a disturbance within a property.
The 27-year-old man was arrested several hours later and charged. He is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Friday.
Inspector Andrew Wilson from Elgin Police Station said: "This incident was contained to the single property and nobody was injured.
"The local community are thanked for their understanding while officers worked to bring this to a safe conclusion."
