A TRIO of artists are preparing to stage an exhibition in the Gallery at Elgin Library.

Synergy is a varied selection of paintings by three women who have chosen to call Moray their home.

It combines the work of Buckie-based artists Teresa Hurley and Sue Sabrovalaki along with Sherin Elhegazi, of Elgin.

Teresa is a story teller who works mainly in oils on canvas, her work is described as both mythical and other worldly.

Sherin is an artist who works with lots of energy to create dynamic colourful paintings which dance between abstraction and reality.

And Sue is inspired by nature and colour, creating colourful mixed media paintings.

Synergy runs from June 15-28 and you can contact Elgin library on 01343 562600 for opening times.
