Telecommunications company based in Moray opens new office in Edinburgh

AN award-winning telecommunications business based in Moray has opened a new office in Edinburgh.

Fibre 1, which has its headquarters on the Enterprise Park near Forres, has moved into an office at St Andrews Square in the capital.

The business was recently highly-commended with two national telecoms UK awards.

With business growth of over 80 per cent in the last year, an ever-growing dedicated channel team provides great satisfaction to the directors as they continue to build an excellent channel brand.

The new office in Edinburgh will be led by the newly-appointed head of channel and business development manager, Dietmar Wand.

Mr Wand joins Fibre 1 after a highly-successful 10-year career in channel with other major IT providers.

He will be supported by Claire Taylor, the new operations manager, and Gino Stirrat, who is an office-based channel coordinator at Fibre 1’s headquarters in Forres.

Both Dietmar and Claire join Fibre 1 at an exciting time of growth for the business. Recently Fibre 1 has developed its new Fibre/FTTP portal and will be launching some very exciting new services to their portfolio.

The Fibre 1 team are excited for the future and are looking forward to bringing their unified communications packages to businesses across Edinburgh and the central belt of Scotland.
