A MORAY charity is calling on supporters to nominate them to win a £1000 festive financial boost.

Outfit Moray, based in Lossiemouth, is hoping to win the money as part of Ecclesiastical Insurance’s annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign.

Now into its fifth year, the campaign sees the specialist insurer donate £1000 to 120 different charities as an early Christmas gift, with 10 winners announced each weekday from December 6 to 21.

Winners are drawn at random, but the more times a charity is nominated the higher their chances of being selected.

Outfit Moray were one of the lucky winners in 2020, with the £1000 helping to subsidise eight one-to-one outdoor learning opportunities for youngsters.

The charity's CEO Tony Brown said: "2021 has been an incredibly busy year for us as we work with more and more young people who are struggling in the post-Covid environment.

"There has been a higher demand for our outdoor learning and adventure activities which, in turn, puts a higher demand on our resources.

"Winning £1000 will help us to continue making a difference to the lives of young people in Moray."

Mark Hews, Group CEO of Ecclesiastical Insurance, added: “Giving back is at the heart of our business.

“Our annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign has supported hundreds of charities over the past four years and I’m delighted that we will once again help charities change lives for the better.

“We know that, for many charities, £1000 can make a real difference. We’re encouraging supporters to get their nominations in this Christmas to give them a chance of winning another festive financial boost.”

Nominations are now open. You can vote at www.movementforgood.com/12days.
