Moray children's rainbows spreading joy amid isolation

RAINBOWS are appearing in windows of homes across Moray as children bid to bring joy to the area amid isolation.

Children are being encouraged to draw pictures of rainbows with positive messages to keep everyone going.

The idea was the brainchild of Elgin mum-of-three Alison Scott, who created the group From My Window Moray on Facebook – which has now amassed 3500 members.

Alison said: "It's lovely. People seem to have really taken the idea on board.

"For parents at home with the kids it's a great thing to do – it offers the chance of a wee break, a distraction from the pressure of home schooling."

In the last two days, the number of pictures popping in windows across Moray has risen drastically.
