MORAY College canteen cupboard supplies have been handed over to the local food bank.

With UHI campuses all closed to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, staff have donated foodstuffs for catering classes, including fruit, vegetables, pasta, milk, bread and eggs, and canteen reserves to charities around the north and Moray.

This week Moray College UHI donated its refectory supplies to Moray Food Plus. The college has also provided Elgin Ambulance Service with boxes of liquid soap and paper towels.

The university is also supporting the NHS by contributing scientific expertise, laboratory facilities and teaching equipment.
