A LOCAL brass band is set to bring a night or rock and pop music to Elgin Town Hall on Friday, November 24.

Moray Concert Brass are set to play everything from The Beatles' Hard Days Night to Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go Go at the hall.

Doors will open at 7pm, with the concert beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for concessions.

Glenn Munro, the band's founder and musical director, said: “It is going to be a fantastic, fun-filled evening and the perfect way to relax and kick off the weekend.

“There will be a licensed bar and one of our infamous raffles. It is particularly family-friendly as under 12s and all pupils who attend Moray Music Centre can come for free.”

Singing along will be optional, but two talented local singers Emma Plain and Callum Mcleod will be on hand to provide beautiful vocals to some of the tunes.

Moray Concert Brass has a busy few months ahead, with the annual Carols on the Plainstones event on Saturday, December 23, which is a highlight of the Christmas season for many.
