ACCESS points in three Moray towns will close from tomorrow to allow the local authority to focus on critical services.

Moray Council has announced that the Buckie, Forres and Keith access points will close at the end of the day on Friday, March 20, until further notice.

The Elgin access point will remain open.

The council has taken the decision due to a reduced number of staff available to operate the services due to people following self-isolation guidance amid the coronavirus threat, and a reduced footfall as people minimise social contact.

The council announcement added: "This will allow us to focus on making sure we can continue to provide critical services elsewhere in the council."
