Moray curry restaurant Panache wins top award

Panache in Elgin his picked up a top prize at the 16th annual Scottish Curry Awards.

The restaurant on Elgin’s South Street was judged ‘Curry Restaurant of The Year’ for the North of Scotland

The awards, which celebrate both talent and hard work, were held at the Double Tree By Hilton hotel in Glasgow.

Panache is managed by Anne Townsley, while Bangladesh-born Mamun Sheikh is head chef.
