A Kinloss family's fancy dress antics have already raised nearly £500 for charity.

Every day for the past six weeks Ruth Miller and her teenage daughter Tiegan have donned outrageous costumes while taking their spaniel Coco for a walk.

It's given their neighbours on the Southside estate a laugh and it's now also helping two very worthwhile causes.

The costumes – many of which they've made themselves – include dinosaurs, sharks, kung fu pandas, cowboys, ninja turtles and Harry Potter, to name just a few.

Ruth said: "We have just reached 100 miles of walking and with more miles to be walked we thought we could raise a few pennies for two of our local causes.

"My charity is MFR Cash for Kids which is supporting local families in need 24/7.

"Tiegan's charity is 1st Kinloss Scout pack which would like a new kitchen in their hut."

The pair set out with the goal of raising £100 but have already surpassed that as the donations continue to roll in.
