MORAY'S annual Family Learning Festival kicked off this weekend and there are a wide variety of fun and free family learning activities organised for the next few weeks.
The Family Learning Festival is a national celebration that takes place in October every year to promote the positive effects of learning together as a family. This year’s theme is to inspire a love of shared learning through curiosity.
Moray Council’s Communities (CLD) Adult and Family Learning team have organised lots of family learning activities, taking place all around Moray from October 14 until November 5.
Puzzles, sports, science, and ghost stories are just some of the fun activities on offer, with options Elgin, Buckie, Dufftown and Keith throughout the month.
Highlights from the festival include:
Dufftown Activity Week – Monday 16 October to Saturday 21 October at Dufftown Library
October Holiday Fun – Thursday 19 October, 1pm-3:30pm at Keith Library and Keith Sports & Community Centre
Number Raiders – Wednesday 18 October, 10:30am-11:30am at Elgin Library Tuesday 24 October, 5pm-6pm at Elgin Library
Inspiring Curiosity: Science and Sport – Wednesday 25 October, 4pm-6pm at Buckie Library Wednesday 1 November, 4pm-6pm at Buckie Library Wednesday 8 November, 4pm-6pm at Buckie Library
Neep and Ghostie Trail – Friday 27 October to Friday 3 November, at Keith Community Centre
