A group of four artists are currently staging an exhibition at Threaplands Garden Centre near Lhanbryde.

The week-long exhibition, which started on Sunday, is showcasing the work of Jill Mackenzie, Heather Billington, Catherine Stables and Lisa Colwell.

Jill, who lives near Keith, said “We’re all local artists from around Morayshire. We reckon the event will be a great way for people to experience different methods of arts and crafts.”

Alongside the exhibition various workshops will also be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tomorrow Heather, who's from Grange and specialises in portraits of pets and wild animals, will be running a workshop about creating sketchbooks.

Then, on Wednesday, a willow weaving workshop is going to be staged by Catherine who's a part-time vet as well as an artist.

Catherine will be showing participants how they can use their new-found weaving skills to make bird feeders from 10am-2pm.

All materials and tools supplied, but booking is essential.
