MORAY Markets and Car Boot Sales are set to host a series of events across the north and north-east in the lead up to Christmas.

The company, run by Lossiemouth-based Ericka White, is hosting markets in Inverness, Elgin, Lossiemouth and Fochabers, which will support 10 charities.

All markets are free to attend. The first – the Inverness Giant Christmas Market – will take place in Inverness Leisure Centre on Saturday, November 26.

With around 100 stalls full of work from the most talented creators from Moray and the Highlands available to purchase, it's the north's largest Christmas market.

Vibes will be festive, with a live Christmas singer and Santa's grotto, while there will be the chance to get a family caricature.

In addition, there will be free gingerbread hunt, entry into a free £100 Moray Markets Christmas hamper competition and many charity stalls.

Three good causes will be supported by the event, with Mikeysline, Adopt A Child and Beauly Brownies to sell items and run a mix of tombolas and raffles.

After the Inverness Giant Christmas Market, Moray Markets will return to home turf for a series of events.

Lossiemouth Christmas Fayre will take place in Lossie Town Hall on Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3. Marie Curie will be in attendance with a stall.

Elgin Christmas Market will take place on Saturday, December 10, at Elgin Sports Centre.

Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation, Highland Youth Theatre and Made for Music Moray will be supported by this event.

The day after, Fochabers Christmas Market will take place at the Public Institute – with Riding for the Disabled to have a stall.
