Residents and staff at Parklands Care Homes have set themselves a 30-day walking or wheelchair challenge to raise money for good causes.

Speyside in Aberlour and Glenisla in Keith are both among the homes taking part in order to mark Parklands' 30th anniversary.

Operations director Elaine Taylor said: "This isn’t just about the distance we cover, it's about enhancing the health and well-being of our residents, staff and the broader community.

"We look forward to enjoying the outdoors this Autumn."

A JustGiving fundraising page has been set up to allow friends, family, and well-wishers to contribute to causes selected by each participating care home.

These funds will be distributed equally to chosen charities or community groups at the end of the challenge.

Parklands was founded in 1993 and operates 11 care homes in Moray and the Highlands, providing care for almost 400 residents.
