Moray Council's online registration will open from January 16 and parents will have two weeks (from January 16 - 27) to enrol their children.

Children who will be five years old on or before February 29 2024 can be registered online to start Primary 1 in the 2023/24 school session.

All children aged three and four entitled to funded hours in Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) from August 2023 or January and April 2024, should also be registered online during the enrolment window.

The whole P1 and nursery registration process, including placing requests, can be completed online here: http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_52991.html

Parents will need to have scanned copies – or clear photos – of their child’s birth certificate and proof of address to upload and submit online and are reminded not to attend at a school or nursery to register a child.
