Owner Karen Thomson said: "We are so proud of the collection of images, called Grit & Grace, and to have won this award with the images is a great achievement for us, we are so thrilled.

"We put so much into this collection and for this to be recognised and awarded is amazing."

The NHF Awards encourage stylists, barbers, beauty therapists and make-up artists at all levels to showcase their work for a chance to be recognised by industry leaders.

To enter, Karen and the team had to submit a collection of photographic images, showcasing their hairdressing skill and creativity.

Karen and the team were up against two other finalists before being named winners at the ceremony, which took place in London.
