Organised by tourism organisation Visit Moray Speyside, the Moray Speyside Winter Festival is set to showcase the region's finest winter events.

Running from November 2023 to January 2024, the programme includes a range of activities, including – among others: thought-provoking arts events, Christmas markets, light festivals, fireworks displays and Burn's Suppers.

Events will place throughout Moray, with the schedule covering Forres, Findhorn, Lossiemouth, Elgin, Buckie, Cullen, Fochabers, Keith and more.

Visit Moray Speyside CEO Gemma Cruickshank said the focus was on creating a "diverse range of events suitable for all ages", showing off Moray's "enchanting landscapes and rich cultural heritage".

"We look forward to seeing you here this winter," she added.

"Let us make your next adventure to Moray Speyside, one to remember."

Highlights of this year's festival include the "mesmerizing glow" of Brodie Illuminated and vibrant Guy Fawkes Night fire works displays, which Ms Cruickshank said would make for "an enchanting atmosphere for all in the off-season."

St Andrew's Day and Burn's Night events will also show off the Scottish Heritage element of Moray’s history.

Ms Cruickshank said these would let locals and visitors alike "experience the traditions, music and flavors that make Scotland unique – all in Moray."

A wide range of Christmas Markets, including those in Elgin, Logie Steading, Lossiemouth and Fochabers, is also set to be a popular part of the Winter Festival.

Unique gifts will be on offer from local makers, along with the opportunity to indulge in top seasonal treats, and soak in the jolly atmosphere.

To support the Winter Festival, Visit Moray Speyside has produced a booklet to allows visitors to plan their winter stay and make the most of their holiday.

The printed leaflet will also showcase the array of winter events for locals – highlighting the great events Moray has on its doorstep.

Ms Cruickshank said: "Whether you're seeking adventure, cultural experiences, or simply a cozy getaway, Moray Speyside has it all."
