THE search is on for Moray's Most Talented this Valentine's Day.

Moray’s Got Talent will host a Valentine’s Party at Lhanbryde Community Centre tomorrow, Friday, February 14, following the success of its previous Buckie talent nights for charities.

Money raised tomorrow will be split between Keiran's Legacy and Lhanbryde Community Challenge – which will put its share towards the purchase of a defibrillator for the village.

Ten acts will compete for the title of Moray’s Most Talented. Performers are set to come from all over Moray, with one making the journey from Inverness to take part. They include ballroom and Scottish dancers, young Elgin pipers, and a group of women singing and signing.

Four judges with expertise in the realms of music and dance will preside over the contest.

Fiona Rolt, Lhanbryde Community Challenge chairperson, said: "Moray's Got Talent really is popular. It gives young people a chance to showcase their talents, which is great. Most of the entrants are youngsters keen to entertain us with singing, dancing and playing.

.

"So please come along to support these worthwhile charities. It promises to be a great night and good entertainment for all the family."

Many local businesses have donated raffle prizes. The fun kicks off at 7pm.

Tickets are still available, costing £5 for adults and £3 for children, and can be booked by phoning the centre on 01343 843025. Light refreshments will be served.
