A group of classic car enthusiasts from Moray have given £1500 to the CLAN cancer charity.

Grahame Colliver handed over the donation on behalf of The Historic Wheels Club.

The cash was raised during the club's annual show at Brodie Castle – one of the most prestigious events of its kind.

Taking place on the second Sunday of every August, this year's show featured 300 cars and also raised money for the Lossiemouth Scout Association and the urology unit at Dr Gray's.

Brian Watt, the club's convenor, said: "We pick charities that are local and relevant.

"The scouts help out at the car show every year.

"Meanwhile the other two are involved in the fight against cancer which is obviously a very good cause."
