Motorcyclist dies in Sunday morning crash on A941

A MOTORCYCLIST has died on Speyside.

Police have appealed for information.

Police Scotland are investigating a one vehicle collision which occurred on the A941 Dufftown to Craigellachie road near Glenburnie, Dufftown 12.50am on Sunday, December 19.

The collision involved a black and red Honda CBR125 motorcycle. Sadly the 23-year-old male rider of the motorcycle died at the scene.

Sergeant Peter Henderson of the Road Policing Department said: "Our thoughts at this time are with the family and friends of the motorcyclist.

"The road is currently closed and an investigation is underway. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or who may have dash cam footage that could assist the enquiry, to contact Police on 101, quoting incident number PS-20211219-0223."
