The band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Scotland play Elgin Town Hall on Friday, September 13.

The concert, which is being organised by the Rotary Club of Elgin, will support three military charities - The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund, Royal Air Force Benevolent Trust and ABF The Soldiers' Charity.

The musicians of the Royal Marines under their musical director Captain Andy Gregory, have prepared a special programme of music for the occasion, tailored to suit the wider community.

Along with a selection of military music, there will also be some light classical pieces, music from the shows, solo numbers, a touch of jazz and the traditional display of pageantry by the Corps of Drums.

The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £16, are available from Elgin Library, Cooper Park, Elgin. Phone 01343 562600.
