Track Of The Week: The Darkness - Christmas Time

It's Christmas! And what better way to celebrate this than with that classic staple of the British festive season – some rockers in ridiculous outfits screaming about how marvellous the whole thing is. From Slade to Wizzard to the Pogues (except replace “ridiculous outfits” in this instance with “Irish despair”), a British Christmas is not complete without some stomping riffs and wailing gentlemen.

So this week, for our Track of the Week, we've picked a fairly modern rocking Christmas classic – The Darkness' “Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)”. It's got everything – great riffs, naff jumpers and Justin Hawkins lounging on a shag carpet like a disturbingly festive Peter Stringfellow.
