Scottish Ballet is giving young dancers a fairytale chance to dance with the company in their next world premiere production, Hansel & Gretel.

The company is looking for young stars in Inverness to dance on stage with the professional company in the world premiere tour of Hansel & Gretel at Eden Court Theatre in January 2014.

Young dancers - boys and girls - aged 12 to 14 years will have the chance to perform alongside Scottish Ballet’s company in the new winter treat choreographed by artistic director Christopher Hampson.

Local auditions will be held in Inverness on Friday, September 6, and can be attended by invitation only.

But for the chance to be considered, download an application form (link below) and when completed, you should send them to Scottish Ballet by Friday, August 30 at the address on the form.

Applicants must be 12 by December 1, 2013 and no older than 14 by January 31, 2014.
