WITH the Christmas holidays in full swing, there were no fish landings at Buckie Harbour last week.

This compared to 314 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and 14 bags of clams which were landed by four vessels.

A single cargo boat called at Buckie last week, the Bahamas-registered MV Swedica Hav. She imported 1700 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on December 23 before sailing light to Teesport on Friday, December 29.
