BAD weather put paid to fish landings at Buckie Harbour last week, with no boats landing.

The poor conditions had hit the previous week's landings heavily, with just 49 boxes of fish/prawns/squid recorded and no bags of clams.

One cargo vessel did make it to Buckie last week, the MV Wilson Twisteden (Barbados). She imported approximately 2030 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on November 2 and, at the time of writing, is expected to sail light to Leith either on Monday, November 6 or the following day.
