No rise in Moray coronavirus cases overnight, Grampian cases up to 946

THERE was no overnight rise in the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Moray.

As of Tuesday at 2pm, there are 41 confirmed cases across the area.

The total number of cases across the NHS Grampian region, however, increased by 15 overnight, from 931 to 946.

There were 97 people in Grampian hospitals overnight with confirmed coronavirus, while 13 were in intensive care with either confirmed or suspected coronavirus.

The Scottish Government is updating figures for each local authority daily. Figures on deaths are released on a Wednesday at noon.

Across Scotland, 63,311 people have been tested through NHS labs. Of these, 50,874 were confirmed negative and 12,437 positive.

A total of 1620 patients who have tested positive have died.
