EIGHT businesses have been named as nominees at Moray Chamber of Commerce's Annual Business Awards.

The awards night will take place at the Seafield Arms in Cullen on December 6, with nominees having been announced last week.

Nominees have been announced in three categories – Most Promising Enterprise, Small-medium Enterprise of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Deli Next Door, Speyside Couriers and The Humble Burger are the three businesses in the running for Most Promising Enterprise.

Small-medium Enterprise of the Year is between The Seafield Arms and Pozzi, in Buckie, while Corporate Social Responsibility nominees are Duffus Estate, Mackenzie and Cruickshank (Forres) and Spey.

Sarah Medcraf, Moray Chamber CEO, said: "We would like to express our gratitude to all the applicants and nominees for their outstanding contributions to the Moray business community."
