Number of Moray gyms cancel classes or close doors

A NUMBER of gyms around Moray have cancelled classes or closed their doors amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Forres Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre this morning announced it will close with immediate effect.
A statement said: "In line with the guidance from the Scottish Government and UK Government, whereby individuals should minimise social contact, Forres Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre has taken a decision to close as of today.
"Please look out for any future posts for updated information."
Moray Leisure Centre has informed members that all exercise classes, swimming lessons and clubs have been cancelled until further notice. However, the gym, pool and ice rink will remain open as normal.
Motion Fitness, in Buckie, also cancelled all classes until further notice "to keep all members and staff as safe as possible".
Lossiemouth Sports and Community Centre announced that Slimming World is cancelled for the next three weeks, but the gym remains open otherwise.
