The Healthworks charity is behind the successful business which acts as a one-stop shop for a range of independent health care practitioners.

Julie Lawrence, centre manager, said: “Healthworks has become a leading power in healthcare, serving Forres and Moray since its launch in 1994. The roots of the business first began at the Findhorn Foundation and has grown from a small team to a well established portfolio.”

Based at Bank Lane in Forres, among the treatments offered at the centre are acupuncture, massage therapy, physiotherapy, homeopathy, and reflexology.

Surplus income has been used to fund an Access to Health Fund to assist people who may not otherwise be able to afford the full cost of the treatment.

Added Julie: “To date we have spent £80,000 on supporting this well used and appreciated fund. This fund also serves our library of books which allows us to continue providing a wide-range of choice books specialising in holistic health and healthy living.

“This is important to the ethos of Healthworks to continue to provide this knowledge and information to help support our clients.”

This Saturday, April 20, an open day will offer people the chance to have taster sessions.
