Their first tour in "a very long time" will see The Skids performing at Elgin Town Hall in October.
The Scottish punk rock and new wave band formed in 1977, had a top 10 hit with 'Into the Valley' and also supported The Clash on tour.
Amongst the current line-up are frontman Richard Jobson, who went on to forge a career as a TV presenter.
In addition, Jobson wrote and directed the acclaimed 2003 film 16 Years of Alcohol, which was partly autobiographical and starred Elgin's Kevin McKidd.
The present incarnation of The Skids also includes guitarist Bruce Watson, who was a founder member of Big Country.
On bass will be William Simpson, on drums Mike Baillie while Jamie Watson will be playing guitar.
The Skids will be at Elgin Town Hall on Thursday, October 22.
