AN ELGIN nursery has marked its 25th birthday with a glittering summer party.

The Magic Roundabout Childcare Centre, which has two buildings in New Elgin, pulled out all the stops to hold a huge silver-themed party to celebrate the anniversary, which involved several months of planning.

More than 100 children, from babies up to age five, attended along with 24 staff members. The children helped to make decorations in the run-up to the party, including bunting and photo booths. The babies contributed their colourful handprints to make big "25" banners.

The young guests enjoyed party games, a bouncy castle and entertainment from Bubbles the Clown. Emergency vehicles and tractors were parked up for the children to climb aboard and explore – and some friendly goats were in attendance for the children to pat.

Parents didn't miss out on all the fun as the nursery invited them for a slice of cake afterwards.
